Chap 4 The next day, my head still hurts from the hit of the badminton racquet incident. I walked weakly my PE locker to get changed for my next period, which is PE, we were starting track and field. I sighed, track and field is always such a pain. Chloe is absent today, probably going off in some sports competition again. I sighed again, not having Chloe here is like I lost a part of my energy. “Hello Evelyn,” someone behind me said. I turned around, expect to see Chloe, but it was Elliot. “Oh, hi Elliot,” I said plainly, as my excitement drowned. “What’s wrong? You’re not acting yourself today,” Elliot said worriedly. He sure is great at observing people. “Oh, nothing, I’m probably just a little cold, and Chloe is not here today.” I sighed, feeling better that Elliot is still here. “Ok, let’s get changed now…” I tried to switch the topic to avoid his worriedness. “Sure…”Elliot still carried a worried expression on his face. We gathered on the field after we changed in...
Chap 3, Boys View I turned around as I heard the thud that’s coming from behind me. Then i saw evelyn, falling onto the ground, with a racket beside her. I saw her mouthed my name, then she became very still. Then I realize I the situation I am in, and I dropped my own racquet, and ran towards her. Nicholas seemed to be running away, probably for a teacher’s help. “Evelyn? Are you ok? Hey girl, don’t fall asleep on me.” The girl, whom if I recalled clearly, called Chloe Westbrook, is kneeling beside her, almost crying. “Hi Chloe,” I said as I kneld down, “What happened? OK, you can tell me in the infirmary, but let’s get her up first.”   Chloe Westbrook took her eyes off Evelyn, and looked at me, stunned. “Wait, are you…” “No time to talk, she might die here,” I kind of half joked, in a serious way. It seemed to have an effect on Chloe, and she immediately tried to pick Evelyn off the shiny gym floor. “Mind if I take her?” I smiled kindly. She glared at me, but hand...
Chapter 2 I walked to my locker, still can’t get Elliot’s expressions out of my head. Soon, I feel someone’s tugging my hair. I turned around in surprise, “Huh?” “It’s me, Chloe Westbrook?” The girl behind me said with a slight sarcasm. Chloe Christine Westbrook has been my best friend for a long time, i don’t know, since kindergarten? She sometimes is a bit annoying, but she’s truly a kind person. “How was Camp Thunderbird?” I asked while I walked out of Art. “Awesome! We had a race to see who picked the most wood for the fire, and guess what? I won!!” She said in excitement as if she had been waiting forever to tell me this. “Good for you!” I said, sharing her happiness. “Where were you? I couldn’t find you.” Chloe had a concerned look on her face. I smiled and answered, “Oh, I didn’t go because I don’t like camping.” “At least try! It’s really fun! You get to sit around the fire and tell...anyways where were you when everyone else was camping?” She said in suspici...
Hey guys, have you been enjoying the first chapter of this new short story? If yes, pleas +1 and tell me by commenting.
Chap 1 It’s mid-April, and the cherry blossom is fluttering in the wind, like snow falling onto the school field. I walk onto the grass as usual and remembered that this is my last bit of school year here. After I graduated from middle school I will go somewhere else. I could still visit, but I’ve been scouted by a high school in the US, and will be living there. An overwhelming sadness filled me. Suddenly, a strong wind blew from behind, and the hair that is tucked behind my ears was blown forward. I turned around to leave and was tucking my hair once more behind my ears. As I turned, I noticed a boy with golden curly hair, fluttering in the wind, and shining in the sunlight, staring at me. He was wearing a pair of half-frame glasses, and a school’s ideal no-sleeve navy sweater. He was carrying binders which I assume to be for his next class. His eyes were blue like the ocean, wide. “H-hey, are you okay?” That is when I noticed the tears in my eyes, I quickly wiped them away wi...
