Chap 3, Boys View
I turned around as I heard the thud that’s coming from behind me. Then i saw evelyn, falling onto the ground, with a racket beside her.
I saw her mouthed my name, then she became very still.
Then I realize I the situation I am in, and I dropped my own racquet, and ran towards her. Nicholas seemed to be running away, probably for a teacher’s help.
“Evelyn? Are you ok? Hey girl, don’t fall asleep on me.” The girl, whom if I recalled clearly, called Chloe Westbrook, is kneeling beside her, almost crying.
“Hi Chloe,” I said as I kneld down, “What happened? OK, you can tell me in the infirmary, but let’s get her up first.”
Chloe Westbrook took her eyes off Evelyn, and looked at me, stunned. “Wait, are you…”
“No time to talk, she might die here,” I kind of half joked, in a serious way. It seemed to have an effect on Chloe, and she immediately tried to pick Evelyn off the shiny gym floor.
“Mind if I take her?” I smiled kindly. She glared at me, but handed over evelyn into my hands. She probably think that I would do something inappropriate to evelyn. I chuckled.
“What’s so funny?” Chloe said angrily, still glaring at me.
“Nothing nothing…” I said, still had a grin on my face.
“Is she Ok?” asked Chloe. She switch topic, tired of me joking around, it seemed.
“I think so.” I answered as I princess hugged her towards the infirmary.
“So you must be the Elliot Brooklyn Evelyn was talking about earlier,” She said with confirmation.
“Unless if there’s another Elliot in our school that has something to do with her,” I smiled kindly.
Chloe smiled back, no matter how “mad” she is, she’s truly a kind person.
Chloe and I got Evelyn to the infirmary. The nurse immediately helped us to get Evelyn to lie down on a bed.
“Is she alright?” I asked the nurse.
”Yes, just a little knocked out.” answered the nurse, “she’ll come back to us in a few minutes.”
I touched Evelyn’s long black silky hair. I noticed that she was very... Pretty? Like in the fantasy books I read.
After a couple minutes, Evelyn coughed, and said in a hoarse voice, “Hey Elliot, hey Chloe. Where am I anyways?”
“Elliot and I got you to the infirmary.” Chloe answered, “anyways, I have a question.”
Somehow I have a bad feeling about this.
“Are you guys dating or something?” She asked, “ Cause Elliot.”
“Yes?” I said in surprise. I was fairly surprised that she was asking this question.
“You carried an extreme kind expression whenever you are looking at Evelyn Zhang. And Evelyn, you were blushing whenever you talk about Elliot Brooklyn.” She said in a suspicious tone.
Evelyn blushed, out of embarrassment. “H-hey Chloe!!” Evelyn objected, “I’m not!!!”
I chimed in, “Miss Westbrook, don’t get the wrong idea! We are only in grade eight.” I joked.
Chloe rolled her eyes and spoke to me, “ugh, Mr. Brooklyn, true love can cross over anything!!!” In a half joking state.
“But the school can expel us!” I joked again, and had a grin on my face.
“Elliot Alexander Van Reneé Brooklyn. I said true, love, is, invincible!!” Chloe said, with one hand over her chest and the other towards the sky, in a powerful way. Like she worship true love, well she does all right.
I’m really surprised that she knows my middle name, since only my family, teachers and I knows it.

Evelyn chuckled, but I saw a flash of sadness pass through her. We stopped “arguing” about true love and looked at her. Then we suddenly all bursted into laughter at the same time, until the nurse came back and threatened us to quiet down.

The End

Yes, the story isn't finished... yet. But, I would like to post the ending and... move on to "shorter" stories. So, here it is. Ending chap 13 boy view “Are you all ready, Elliot?” My mom hurried me. “Evelyn is waiting for you in a half-death state.” She joked, threatening me. “ Yes, I am, mother.” I answered, without expression. I was trying to hide my sadness about Evelyn, going to live in the US, and might never return again. “Are you still upset about Evelyn?” My mother asked softly, she can observe anything in a person’s heart, especially mine. I didn't answer her question, she sighed and opened the door. I walked through the door without saying a word, my mind racing about Evelyn leaving. My heart ached. ...My heart...ached? I’ve never experienced heart aching, what do people call this feeling again? I just couldn't understand. “You’ve liked her ever since you’ve met her, didn’t you?” Mom said from behind. I widen my eyes, and turned aro...
Hey guys, have you been enjoying the first chapter of this new short story? If yes, pleas +1 and tell me by commenting.
Chap 1 It’s mid-April, and the cherry blossom is fluttering in the wind, like snow falling onto the school field. I walk onto the grass as usual and remembered that this is my last bit of school year here. After I graduated from middle school I will go somewhere else. I could still visit, but I’ve been scouted by a high school in the US, and will be living there. An overwhelming sadness filled me. Suddenly, a strong wind blew from behind, and the hair that is tucked behind my ears was blown forward. I turned around to leave and was tucking my hair once more behind my ears. As I turned, I noticed a boy with golden curly hair, fluttering in the wind, and shining in the sunlight, staring at me. He was wearing a pair of half-frame glasses, and a school’s ideal no-sleeve navy sweater. He was carrying binders which I assume to be for his next class. His eyes were blue like the ocean, wide. “H-hey, are you okay?” That is when I noticed the tears in my eyes, I quickly wiped them away wi...
